A lot of us love old guitars. We also love the idea of customising them and making them play really well. None of us want to cut the value of an all original vintage guitar, so here at Bridge St. Guitars we build them afresh and add customised touches to them, including Custom CoolEtch’s range of knock out etched metal parts, road worn finishes and natural finishes where the beauty of the wood shines through.

Our neck radiuses also vary from 7.25” to 9.5” and beyond, with vintage to medium jumbo frets. Add to that custom wound pickups, switching options and a range of off the shelf options, and you have the Bridge St. range.

… if you fancy a Bridge Street Guitar.  There’s a contact form on the contact page.  We tend to keep a small number of guitars in stock (currently we have three bridgecasters and one streetcaster which we haven’t yet put on the for sale page – sorry!), but find most sales relate to custom orders.  Apparently May 16 is buy your partner a new guitar month;)

All current built stock is now sold, so BBB is working on 4 or 4 new guitars to be available soon.  All T-style.  Surf green nitro, black nitro, vintage cream/yellow relic (custard-caster) and maybe something a little different – watch this space.  More info and build pics coming soon.

I would like to know if you have a standard price list, or are your guitars completely custom ordered?
How do I inquire about a possible order in the future? I’m interested in a tele in either surf green, on a copper color. Thanks !ReplyCancel

Hi Rob – good to link up with you on FB. As discussed, prices tend to be around £800 GBP but can vary a little depending on spec. BSG is a relatively small operation, and I tend to have around 3 guitars in stock at any one time, but mostly respond to custom orders. Surf green Bridgecaster pic sent to you, plus the Streetcaster is also still available. Each of those is available at £800 GBP (including case). I’ll check out shipping costs. Cheers BBB (aka Chris).ReplyCancel

So, the dairy blonde with the 5 way switching is now gone!  To a good home, however, and already featuring on a soon to be released recording with an up and coming young and exciting band.  More details to follow.

This guitar is a bit special to be honest, with a custom thin skin finish, compensated bridge saddles, top quality Oil City pickups and mother of pearl inlays on the controls.  You’ll be able to see it in action in venues across the country from now on. :)

Well here she is….old Bluey. My birthday present from my lovely missus. Bridge Street Guitars Aged daphne blue Bridge-Caster with Fender Custom Shop Texas Special pickups, and 4 way switching.  Alder body, rosewood ‘board on maple neck, v…intage style split post tuners and Custom Cooletch rusted verdigris and black paisley-esque nickel silver scratchplate. Many thanks to BadBob Bates for his hospitality and for a mini jam while I tried this and a few others in the range. Believe me these guitars are just simply awesome and beat the living hell out of any of the bog standard “bigger name” guitars out there “off the shelf”. Put together by people who know and love their guitars and who are so into what they do it is actually a struggle to get them to part with them – lol. Cannot wait to get out there gigging with this litte lady who will be my go to guitar now. With 4-way pick up switching this will cover anything and everything I need it for. Going from warm bluesy tones to bright jangly telecaster tones as you would expect and everything in between and past it. Can grunge with the best of them but roll back the volume and you have the sweetest clean tones as well. I move a few guitars back and forth but “Bluey” is a keeper and that’s a promise. Thanks guys for everything and wishing you more success with these stunning instruments. See More
